Clyde's Annual Ranking
Just in case you missed Clyde Berryman's annual post-season top 40, here it is.
NCAA Playoff Proposal
Here's an interesting proposal for a playoff system:

The argument is that a playoff would hurt the bowls. His theory doesn't seem to cause a problem. My own simplest argument (and I don't know what could be any simpler) is to play all the bowls as we do now but have an additional three games. After all the bowls are played, have one more BCS Poll. Take the new top four and match #1 against #4 and #2 against #3. In this setup, the Rose Bowl could go back to being the Rose Bowl when it was good. With all the bowls being played and three extra games of such high caliber, please explain again to me how money would be lost. I just don't get it.

Starting Again
Wow! Has it been a year since the last post? The posts below are still valid as far as I know. The only real changes are that I did indeed win a couple more awards. My wife - the first female sports rater that any of us know of also won an award in her first complete season. Wow! again. I will check the links below again when I get a chance. Henceforth I will be telling you what sorts of sports goodies I find as I totally overhaul David's College Football Directory. I am going to put a lot of work into it this season as I did when I originally expanded David's listings to sports other than College Football. Once I am finished, there will be a totally new directory.
