Bad Weekend

I'm going to take a nap and hope I wake up before I have to go to work. A connection on my car kept them from getting readings on my car to inspect it. They sent me to another place but their computer was down. That will now wait until next week. I took my daughter to start a bank account. She needed two forms of ID that will have to wait for later. My wife got sick and I have to take her to the doctor tomorrow. We went to get my wife a new phone and found out it was a lot cheaper on the Internet. I have to order it, now. There were other things that happened like someone screwing up the date on my loan. I'll stop there. Maybe I can wake up long enough to get something posted later. So, how was your day?

Two Days Off

Hopefully, in between other things that always inconveniently pop up, I will have a few hours to work on the directory this "weekend."

Canadian Football League Power Rankings

Joe has added the Canadian Football League Power Rankings to the CFL page.

New Site for You to Talk about your Sports Site

I set up a new blog for those who want to publicize their own work. Post news or ratings or ask questions or whatever.

Brian McAtee

Quality Champions Rankings has been updated to its new site.

Peter Mucha

Remember the Monkey Ratings? Peter Mucha is back with the Random Walker Rankings.

Back to Normal

Okay, the job change is finished and I'm getting used to the very different hours. I've gotten my email straightened out and started working on the directory, again. A fairly smooth transition.

Great Season in NBA

In the NBA the Nutshell Combo was the best against the spread followed by Nutshell Girl. Wish I could have been up there. I guess I get half an award and Nutshell Girl gets a half. She did have seven more wins than anyone else against the line. I did well as far as bias goes, coming in second to Least Squares. Of course, I feel a little better knowing Least Squares came in late in the season while I was there from the beginning. We are also doing MLB but we're both behind schedule and there's nobody to tell us how well we're doing. Todd only has so much time.

Status

Getting close to the end of the page in college football. The tedious part is almost finished except for the Additional Listings page. The rest will be fun.

Catherwood Rating System

The Catherwood Rating System has been added to the directory.

Updates to Superlist

When I didn't win an award on Todd Beck's site this season (Nutshell Girl did) I thought I was going to have to kick myself off the list. Fortunately I still hold second place (there's only room for two) so I get at least one more season, making two for me. Jeff Sagarin will be replaced this season by Payne College Football Power Ratings as a retrodictive. The top contenders this season for predictive were Kambour, Nutshell, StatFox, Sagarin, Pigskin, Bemiss, and Massey. Unfortunately for the Girl, she didn't win a category that would get her closer to the Superlist but I'm proud to say that she has won an award in each of her first two complete seasons.

Dezenzio TSRS

The True Statistical Rating of Strength has been added.

David Knight

The RoundTable Ratings have been added to the college football page. Other entries that will later be added to their respective pages are NFL, men's college basketball, NBA, and college baseball, most including predictions.

I'm Baaaack!

Had to do a little job change. Things are almost back to normal, now.

StatFox

StatFox Power Ratings have been added to the directory. Ratings that will later be added to their respective pages are Arena and CFL football, College Men's basketball, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, and NASCAR.

Real Time RPI

This system has been added. Entries for men's and women's basketball ratings and RPI's as well as NFL will be added later on their respective pages.

Catastrophic Annihilation

This system has been added to the list.

This Week

I have half a weekend to do what I can. The yard I work at has decided to send their business to another one. A good bit of my time will be used to get the next job. I've had three jobs in sixteen years. I hate changing jobs.

Last Week a Disaster

I had to work an extra day last week and the other day off I used from beginning to end to try to keep my life in order. It was a success in that aspect but nothing was done on the directory.

Status Check

Added two today, working on several more. Back Sunday - no, really, this time.

Ben Hatch

Hatch Mathematical Ratings have been added.

Steven Jens

Steven Jens' NCAA Football Sports Ratings have been added to the college football page.

That's It Until Sunday

Most of the work we did this week is not visible to the public. Jon Rogers updated the college baseball page and is working on the college basketball page. Joe finished the CFL page and will be tackling the UFL page, most likely. I had a funeral and all its prerequisites which cut my time severely, including normal family time, but managed to get a few things done. Sunday I will get back into the swing of things.

CFL Page is Updated

You know Jon Rogers has updated the college baseball site and now Joe Kasulis has updated the CFL page. There's still a lot of work to be done on our list before all the pages show up. Now and then a new page will be revised until we get to that point. Pages that are in the works are the UFL and college basketball.

Updating College Basketball

Jon Rogers is updating the college basketball page. Once he completes it and we have established the links, I will let you know. He already has the college baseball page posted.

Still Grinding It Out

I'm still working behind the scenes. Every time I knock off one link, I gain two more. It's going to be a race to the finish line to beat the new college football season. I'm gathering links from the Additional Listings page and adding new sites that were sent to me from Jon and Joe. David's still sending me information on college football sites. Once I collect the Additional Information links, I will put update Joe's CFL page. That will be the first brand new page but it will still look like all the others. If you don't hear from me again, I've gone over the edge.

Addition to Steven Jens

I somehow left out the fact that there are CFL ratings which, ironically, are the reason I was checking his site in the first place.

Eric Hollobaugh

Eric Hollobaugh's Sports Rating have been gathered and will appear on their respective pages once I get that far. His ratings include Arena Football League, CFL, NBA, and MLB. You can find the various ratings at: http://ratingspage.zoomshare.com/. As with Steven Jens's the pages are linked by the year. If the link shows a 9, you can delete it and add 10 to see if he has moved on to the next season yet.

More on Steven Jens

Steven uses the year in his URL's. Some of the sports are listed as 09. By changing the 09 to 10 you can find his new ratings once he gets them set up.

Steven Jens

I have collected the ratings pages from Steven Jens Sports Ratings. I have not put it on the college basketball page, yet, as I await a verdict from David. There are other ratings there, though, including Arena Football, Men's and Women's College Basketball, NBA, WNBA, MLB, Men's and Women's College Hockey, MLS, and USL. The home page where you can find the information is: http://www.stevenjens.com/Sports/

Updating CFL Page

Joe Kasulis tells me (I usually find out by accident) that Canadian Football is about to start. I'm excited because I don't even know if all the same teams are playing yet. In any case, I'm going to update the page with Joe's information. It might take some time since I will also go through those sites for links elsewhere. The next posts will be mainly CFL.

Jerry Palm

The PSR Ratings are now posted.

Ryan Williams

ryanratings has been added to the directory.

Hmm

I see in my Twitter section that I need to quit posting so many things to a site that is linked to it. People ask questions for you to answer and I was surprised to see them there. Don't read too many of them. You might get to know me a little too well.

College Baseball Page

While I've been working on the college football and additional information pages, Jon Rogers has been updating the college baseball and basketball pages. The baseball page is now updated and the basketball page should be finished soon. David's idea has now spread to three sites.

Tough Weekend Update

I had a family reunion on one of my two days off and went to jury duty the second. I got an extra day off which is good for time but bad for money. I have actually used some of it for the directory. The next few (above) posts will tell you what I'm getting done.

Time to Stop

I probably won't do any more updates this week. I am supposing that David and Jon and Joe will have some new things to do next week. If not, I will continue down the Additional Links page. I have plenty left to do.

David Ewold

Does anyone know where his College Football Top 40 has moved?

Update

Pulled all useful links from Additional Links through Carl Banks. Added article to Todd Beck's listing. You won't see some of those links until I redo those pages.

Another Missing Rater

Anyone know what happened to Carl Banks? It seems to me he had a problem he had to deal with. I'm not sure.

Basic List Complete

All entries on the College Football Page have been updated. It's time to go through Jon Rogers' list to see what else needs to be added. It is up to David as to which sites will be added. In the meantime I will start going through the Additional Links page for links that need to be added to the currently listed sites. After that will be Jon's and Joe's pages - NFL, College Basketball, College Baseball, CFL, and UFL, in that order.

John Wobus

Wobus Ratings has been updated.

Another Missing Rater

Where is Lawrence Wisne of CFFinsiderRankings?

David Wilson

Performance Ratings is updated. This is where you find all the goodies.

Steve Whitlock

Whitlock College Football Rankings is updated.

Matt Welch

Matthew Welch's College Football Ratings are updated.

F.R. Webb

Webb's Rating Index has been updated.

Another Missing Rater

Does anyone know what happened to Ron Walter?

Break Time

That's it for today (maybe). I've made it down to the last thirteen. So far the updated entries are up to 103 and Jon Rogers has found some more to add. Still a lot of work to be done but the majority of it is complete.

Ray Waits and Rick Workman

The MegaRanking, including Middle Game Ratings, Oddsmaker Ranking, and Workman Poll (FCSTop25), has been updated. The strange thing is that I discovered I don't have a link to it from most of my site pages. Oops!
